Consecrated Stewards Bible Study begins on Sunday, May 11 A special series of Adult Bible studies will begin on this day. The title of this mini-series is Giving Life to the Next Generation. Part one (for this week) is entitled "Out of the Saltshaker." Please join the adult Bible class in the Library/Conference room at 9:45 AM. If we have an overflow crowd for that room, other arrangements will be made, so that all can participate.

Relay for Life Saturday, May 17 The PLC Youth of Peace (YOP) will be participating in the King George Relay for Life at King George High School from 12 Noon to 12 Midnight. Sunday, May 18 We will only have one Worship Service at 10:00 AM. It will be followed by a Pot Luck Luncheon and our Quarterly Voters' Assembly. There will be no Sunday School classes on this day. The nursery will be open from 9:45 to 11:30 AM.

Confirmation Sunday Sunday, June 1 We will only have one Worship Service at 11:00 AM. Sunday School classes will be held at the regular time, 9:45 AM, and the nursery will be open from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Consecration Sunday Sunday, June 8 We are going to celebrate God's call to be in ministry on this day with one worship service at 11:00 AM. After the service, there will be a celebration luncheon. This will not be a potluck, but thanks to some generous members, it will be a catered meal. Our goal is to have every member worship and fellowship together. Pastor Keith Loesch, who has recently retired as the pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Woodbridge, is our guest leader for the Consecrated Stewards emphasis. He will be the preacher for the day, as well as our Bible Study leader on June 1 during the Sunday School hour. Sunday School classes will be held at the regular time, 9:45 AM, and the nursery will be open from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
